voipstunt worked ok for me for a while (when the trial ran out just made a new username) then restricted me to 1min calls, but just had an email from the makers of voipstunt called voipdiscount

Yeah I used this, the credit expires after so long though. Ok so its cheap but its not technically free, you have to update your credit every x number of days

    cunzie

I'm with Voipstunt and looking at www.voipcheap.com

Same company but a different tarrif:
united kingdom (Landline) SuperDeal! free* free*
united kingdom (Mobile) SuperDeal! 6 6.96

Will be switching to them on the 27th July when my voipstunt credit runs out.

I use a Linksys PAP2 so I will just configure line 2 as my voipcheap account and switch the phone into line 2 on the 27th. Easy peasy

    EDIT
Just seen the date on the original thread, you've probably found voipcheap for yourself by now.

How are you running Voipstunt via a PAP2 or similar or by using their software?
Have you got any downloads going on that would steal all your bandwidth?
Does your router have QOS and if so have you set it up for your voip?

I use Voipstunt on a pap2 and have no issues except when my broadband goes down.

    @beerman
Don't switch... Betamax VoIP services (voipstunt/cheap...ect) no longer offer in-bound numbers, so don't switch you will just be thought €10 down the drain if you are wanting a in-bound number!

none @ the moment... just stay were you are untill they start releasing numbers again, it seem they have been force to stop giving Geoghaphic numbers, so the numbers that have been leased will worth keeping for the moment anyway.

for new ppl requiring inbound number the only place i know is sipgate.co.uk

this one looks a good one no need for topup. Your calls are free to a lot of countries landlines as long as the other side have the software installed aswell.
You can have a pc telephone number aswell for an anual charge of $35

try sipgate.co.uk for your free geographical inbound number. I use a asterisk box with about 8 different companies for incoming and outgoing.
