I got a job interview at last!

Got an interview at a Kia dealership next Thursday for the position of Car Sales Executive, they phoned me yesterday to ask if my driving licence was clean...ummm noooo it's very unclean, how many points they ask, 9 says I, we'll call you back tomorrow and let you know. So they phone back and cos 6 of the points are due to come off next April they are prepared to see me. Fingers, toes and testies crossed lol.

I've applied for virtually every car sales job going with no luck, I just hope this turns into a job. I did get a 2nd interview at a Ford dealership last year but no joy there, that's been the only interview to date, so before applying for the above I heavily revised my CV and cut it down by a full page as it went on a bit....bit like I am now

Anyway, I am excited and wanted to share my excitement with you chaps and chapets

I've only had 1 interview. I think my cv went on too much hence cutting it down which I think may have helped in this case.

sometime it can be a right nightmare, the differance between getting the job and not getting it is a very very fine line indeed.

when selecting people for a role in my dept earlier in the year, we were down to two blokes. both very simular in age and exsperiance....
why did one bloke get it over the other ? well the bloke who didnt get the job looked like nutty trevor off eastenders....

theres a been a couple of job i have lost this year for no reason other than the client was unwilling to wait a months notice. what sort of cock is that ? i mean if i had got the job im sure the client would have had me on 1 or 3 months notice, but they are unwilling to wait for my to finsih my notice with my current employer. load of old cock..

i only spoke to a agency yesterday concerning what looked like a right plum role.Video on demand comapny, 80 odd servers and some very heavy networking setup...sounded well nice.. the problem ?
the chap who current runs the IT is leaving today (friday) and they need someone who can start Monday....

i simply cannot understand what they are thinking...
they want to find a bloke in 2 days, exactly what sort of people are avaliable at 2 days notice ? not going to be the cream of the crop is it ?
