Well done on getting the job simon.
Next step is FSA training!!!!!
I used to work in Bank/Finance but on tuesday move to Recruitment one thing i wont miss is the FSA. If done correctly it makes it more difficult to sell insurance products. Although being a car company i'm sure they'll have their own version of "correctly"
well done mate, I got an interview last tuesday for a sys admin position in glasgow, seems very interesting and I had the first interview with the 2 technical managers, how they put me through question time was unbelievable. They wanted to know everything. I think I done OK but not brilliant.
They seem a good place to work and it is a good salary + a lot closer to home rather than my 1 hour drive each way that I currently do.
I'm only hoping I'm the best of the shite cos I did mess up a few times due to them putting me under copious amounts of stress...but hey, they have to get the correct guy for the job.
And again, good stuff for getting the job buddy!
I treated myself to a PSP today :O):O):O)
Hope it goes ok for you Tam, fingers crossed for you.
FSA training should be a breeze.

Best of luck with the position mate, you won't be the only one that messed up under duress believe me.. but when it comes to the crunch verdict by the people that are going to hire, it's always down to if they think you could and would fit into the 'team' already in place. What you know is obviously important in any interview, but giving the interviewer the impression you will fit in is just as important.Originally Posted by tam9

Best of luck tam9 matey, bet the drive to work is a killer hr each way, although working ngits aint o bad but the trouble and time and costs either way must be quite bad.
Keep us posted on your new adventures.
@ simon hodge, treated urself to a new toy welldone matey
Sold my first car yesterday. A used Kia Magentis on a 55 plate to a bloke in London over the phone, got a deposit and what have you. It was a tough deal as he's got a 3 litre Laguna to px, he said he only bought it 12 months ago for £7,500 (it's a 51 01'), we offered him 3k, then 3.2k and finally 3.8k which he went for. I think he's mad but it makes me look good lol.

yeah I hate how much car dealerships rip people off, ah well.
It's what it capped, if you know what that means then you'll know why his car wasn't worth much. No ripping off involved!Originally Posted by jackroo

Car sales sucks bear nuts lol. It isn't for me, 75% of the time there's nothing to do, and I mean nothing, I need a job where there's something to do all day, 10 hour days with 2 hours work is well depressing. Yes the money is good, but money isn't everything, even my 5 year old daughter told me she doesn't like me doing the job because she hardly see's me (see's me for about 30 mins a day if she's lucky).
So it's back to the drawing board
