What animals have you ran over?

It's desicion time, put your car in the hedge/brick wall or end the critters life...

End the critters life, I have ran over two cats, sum sort of tall bird and a badger in my life time. The badger destroyed the engine of my old citroen saxo, I was very pissed off with it. I fucking hate badgers and cats, so I don't feel bad one bit. The tall bird, i didn't see until the last minute.

In my time i'v knocked down most things in the poll except a human. The worst thing you can hit is a cow. Just like driving into a brick wall.

Hit an alsatian (sp?) on me montain bike once. Booting it down a hill and the dumb cunt just stepped off the pavement with it's owner without either of them looking in my direction. I went over the bars and the dog collapsed with probable broken ribs. I punched the owner and told him to keep an eye on his fucking dog and then rode off. Stupid cunt.

About 10 years ago i was driving to work, just pulled put of my street and there was a little boy on one side of the road, as i was watching him to make sure he was not going to run in the road his dog ran out in front of me from the other side of the road. i hit the dog and it went under the car, i could feel it kicking to get out and after about 20 seconds it got out and ran off.

I went to see the owners later and was told it had to be put down due to internal injuries, i was gutted.

I love dog and have one myself.

A pheasant a few months back, there was lots of blood and feathers. Also a pigeon hit my windscreen recently, nothing gory just an almighty thud and a big cloud of dust, filthy bastard thing!

Hit a dog in an old Astra I was selling once, but it ran off, and although I got out and looked around it was nowhere to be seen.

Baby cow on bypass at night when dark, dunno wtf it was doing meandering across 4 lanes.

Seagull as well, bunch of them on the main road - shame I only got one. Answered poll as bird but not sure if I should have said rodent. Stupid seagulls.

Years ago I was driving a large army ammo truck across the A66 pennine way, it was the middle of winter, pitch black and foggy as hell when I glimpsed someone stick their friggin fist out thumbing a lift at the last second, too late to do anything and hit it. The wagon was huge so it must have hit the front bumper as it shattered his hand and he lost a finger. Cops didn't do anything (Other than call him a total twat for thumbing it in that weather).

All were accidental with the exception of the human, which cost me 2 weeks in jail and a 2 year ban.

I was hit by a car when I was drunk, outside a nightclub, it wasn't driving fast, gave me a massive bruise on my thigh. I was 16 at the time and wasn't suppose to be out so i couldn't tell my folks.

Its still marked my legs,

A motorcycle sliced my leg open when I was on holidays when I was young as well. really dirty scar there as well.

pheasants roam wild in the woods around my house so i get one every couple of weeks however the things to watch out for are badgers .
i hit one in a ford focus and it smashed the front bumper ,radiator and one spotlight they are bigger than you would expect an very solid

I was blasting along the road on my bike one day and a blackbird flew out of a hedge and hit me on the shoulder. Nearly knocked me off, as I was doing about a ton at the time, but I came off better than it did; it burst all over my jacket. Luckily it was pissing it down so it was all washed away by the time I got home.

I also had a crow fly into the front wheel of my trail bike when I was younger. It went straight up in the air as it bounced off the spokes, then came down flapping its wings in a rather random way (probably because it was dead).

Riding through town once a dog ran in front of me, so I honked my horn. It turned round and ran in front of a car, who honked his horn, so it turned round again. By this time I was right on top of it, so its luck had run out by then. I caught it a glancing blow with the fairing, it yelped like a bastard and ran off.

i did a pheasant on the motorway one day, first and only time i've killed an animal with a car.
i also bounced off a sheep, it just baaa'd at me then walked off into the countryside. reason I bounced is because i was baling round a corner up the west coast of scotland and there were a group of sheep so i slammed the anchors on, most of them ran apart from 1 stupid one. i was slowing down as I nudged it. was a rather funny episode.
