Guys guys guys, I have been lovin this car for a long time now. And decided to have a drive to Shropshire at the weekend from Leicester to check out a hot Red G60, I took it for a test drive and it was awesome. Was well worth the 7 hour round trip.

Sounded great and really nice to drive, now I need one of these cars. I would prefer a red G60.With under 100k on the clock.

I did offer the guy £2.500 for his and said I would meet up the week after, he then went to withdraw the listing from ebay but somebody had decided to pay cash for the full asking price without viewing the car. He rang me up and I was gutted, so if you guys could your eye out for one of these I will buy you a drink or 2 at least and also give you a hug.

I am of course checking E Bay and Autotrader on a dailey basis, but there must be more out there.

You sir have a great taste in cars, worst decision VW ever made was the shelve the Corrado, tho it's coming back!

Best thing to do is get yourself down to WH SMITHS have have a look in the classifieds in the monthly VW specialist mags..

my m8 breaks audis& vw"s& its what i mainly werk on ,2weeks ago a lad came in for a new twinpipe from manifold to middle box piece & was talking about selling it iwll get intouch& ask him for an email address for you to contact,i looked it over& it was imac& it was decated,the wheels were sweet & might i add the paintwerk could do with a little touch up nothing to worry about .iwill do my best for ya in gettin in contact asap,good luck 4 now fella,for now here ya go & njoy

yeah been checking pistonheads.com that’s a top site, might bang my car on there soon. I already get the VW Mags and check through there. You guys reckon that the VR6 will be better than the G60?

There is not much difference BHP + I read somewhere the other day that the VR6 engines basically **** up after about 120,000. Whilst I have seen plenty of G60's with over 160,000 selling.

The one I drove had 93k on the clock and it was a beast and drove a treat. I can see that it will cost me allot in the future but I don’t really care I think it will be well worth it.

screaminskull200 if you could get in touch with that guy it would be great, yeah I know what you mean about the paint work the red one I saw had been hit by the pink disease. But I would be willing to get it resprayed/ repaired maybe even an engine rebuild etc.

Hopefully going to have another drive around this weekend to get one, don’t mind travelling up to about 100 miles from Leicester.

Its really one sweet looking motor.
