ive just broken my hand!

ive just spent 5 hours down the local A&E after breaking 2 bones in my hand and a smaller one in my wrist. im in agony!!

i done it playing football this afternoon. Im a goalkeeper, and in the first minute i had to mak a save down to my right. As a palmed the ball away i laned on my hand, bending it back, and as i did i hear a loud crack, it was ****in horrible.

im also pissed off coz its gonna need pins put in it, which means 2-3 months of hell. and 2-3 months off work. im also gonna miss the 2 cup finals that i was meant to play in may

have a butchers at the state of my hand in the x-ray.

lol, I feel sorry for you, but if everything goes well, you still get to enjoy the summer with two hands I hope you have a girlfriend, or that you are left handed so "relieving" yourself won't be a problem Horrible to wipe your arse though if you are right handed.

I've broke a lot of bones in both hands, an elbow, a few bones in my feet, collar bone and a couple of other sundries. You will get over it mate but you may have some slight bumps where they heal for a while.

yes i am right handed and am not looking forward to my first post-break dump.

Jaysus that looks nasty, son. A mate of mine had a similar accident paying football, in goal as it happens, ended up breaking the bones in his thumb and forcing them back into his wrist. His thumb was about half an inch long. Took a bloody long time to heal properly too

Reminds me of a time, where we had came back from the pub on weekday evening, and we were all sitting aboot. Someone mentioned paedophi1es, and a friend of mine (completely wrecked) jumped up out of his seat, shouting aboot how much he hates paedophi1es. Someone asked what he'd do if he caught one.....

He then proceeded with this classic line (If that was a paedophile wall, I'd........................then he punched if full force)..... We gave him some frozen peas to put on his hand and let ourselves oot, wetting ourselves at hime.


Seemingly he had broke a bone in his hand and it ended up sticking oot of his skin.... (he told us that,,,,,and he's a spoofer)

they gave me a hard copy of the x-rays to take back on tuesday when i get the pins inserted, as im going to a different hospital.

and theres not really much to see now in the way of brusing, as my cast covers most my hand. i wish to feck i had taken a few pics of my hand just after the incident coz that would have made some very interesting viewing!
