Went to see a few of these recorded at YTV in Leeds, excellent shows, Spikey is brilliant in them and all your old faves are there...the music, the revolving board, Tony, the crap prizes. Classic. They've already committed to a second series to be filmed in a June / July - got tickets for that too!

Dave Spikey, isn't he the one that was on 8 out of 10 cats that isn't funny?
Yeah, I think I'll give that a miss.
I like Spikey in Phoenix nights but in 8 outta 10 cats hes about as funny as testicular cancer..
Cant believe they didnt get Bowen to do it...
Bowen would have rocked, I love one on one sports, darts, snooker etc, bully was class with jim on it.
Lets see if the new one can bring us old timers round

It was good, but the original is legendary. It showed how much editing had gone on with the cut aways between sections, and the prizes were probably about equal but they put some laughter on in the background when they were being announced.
Anyone who has seen the Phoenix Nights outtakes with Jim Bowen would understand why they didn't choose him. "Sorry Team".
Coincidence, this - I went to visit my mum tonight & one of the winners is the son of her friend she's had since school. I would like to know how they shared 1 plasma telly

I rather enjoyed it.
Killed myself laughin when Dave Spikey was doing the prize introductions from Bully's prize board with the yellow inflatable pool toy thingy:
"IIIIIIIIIIIIIInnnnnnnnnnnnn 6", "The only thing I'd like to see in a swimming pool thats yellow - an inflatable toy"!
I was in a giggly mood already and that one killed me!
for me bully always was and always should be on a Sunday at 5pm.
Just use enough water to cover your vegetables, the same goes for when you're having a bath....
Can't remember the special prize, but the main prize was a plasma/lcd telly. Phil Taylor scored 308 in the bronze bully section for £616 to charity. The people who got onto the prize board didn't gamble, so it went to the 2nd place team who won. The 1st episode ticked all the boxes
