Well, personally I feel very very sorry for him. You just sit, watch and wish you could do something to help him out. I had a French girlfriend with a stutter, very mild though, except when she got angry with me, and that was pretty frequently

I saw a program about Tourette Syndrome, might have been on C4 as well, where a hypnotist gave teraphy to a guy who was suffering from this. Again, I felt very sorry for him, as when for example he was speaking on the phone, he made uncontrollable noises, e.g. shouted down the phone, frustrating for everyone.

That's really sad and although it's easy to laugh, the joke wears thin after a few seconds 'cos it can't be fun going thru life like th.. th.. th.. that.

Nikki, it's a real shame, (I am being serious). But you would think it may be easier for him to change his name to something easier..... Won't help him all the time, but at least he could book a appointment or something. The woman on the phone sounded quite sympathetic, I can image lost of people would have thought it was a wind up and put the phone down on him.

sorry but I pissed meself at that ... And I know it's harsh but its the fact that I have to deal with stutterers and stammerers all the time.... I am sure I have talked to him on tech support for TT
