Adobe CS2 Selection Problem

Hi there, been using Adobe Photoshop 2.0 for many years and got very used to the easy to use Select-Polygon method i.e. click drag line, click drag line etc etc to manually draw the shape around selected part of pic.
However after a few upgraded to PC/ XP it no longer supports that program giving a 16bit error prog not compat message, so....I installed a much newer version called Adobe CS 2, but cant find a similar method of selection, closest I can find is a manual draw around with mouse method, but with using a roller ball mouse, the result is not pretty or accurate, anyone use this particular program or recommend a similar one to 2.0, thanks.....................Tony

You can either use the pen tool m8, or I find very easy...the Polygonal Lasso Tool (see pic).

Cheers for that m8, just had a play around with it, a lot different from my trusty old 2.0 version, but with a bit of practice, I'll get the hang of it..............Tony
