New ntlhell upgrades announced 2Mbit->4Mbit + 10Mbit Unlimited

A lot of 2M people I know have had the email about the upgrade to 4M but I havn't. Does anyone know if this will be a staged rollout over the coming weeks/months or do we all get it on the same day?

I am an *** customer and I don’t mind them at all really. I know people say they have problems all the time but I don’t. As for their monthly usage allowance, supposedly they already have one in place, but I download constantly and it has never effected me.

If the info is correct then speeds should start being increased as of tomorrow. If anyone gets upgraded then let us know.

I have massive dl speed probs tonight, am on 10 meg with N T L, using Newsleecher, I subscribe to Newshosting. Have done the online speed checks and am getting around 6 meg, I assume it's a Newshosting issue but there's nothing on their site to say anything. I've been pissing around for about 2 hours now, I give up for tonight!

EDIT. Changed port number and now it's fine.

I was on 10mb but downgraded recently. I found it slow and it doesnt work to its full potential. It slows down the pc in general too. Now im on 4mb its just as fast as 10mb.

Theres only the odd times where its fast.

Any of you guys experiencing the same ?

hopefully its 409600 ( well unless your at 10 meg . Then kick up feck about it :S )

I just got upgraded to 4MB, I'm only getting 2-3MB on my wireless connection though and I can't figure out why.
