Firmware 2.7 is out. New features inc camera, gps & more

The new 2.7 firmware is out for jap consoles (how many have nintendo done now for DS? lol).

The eboot was decrypted and the prx's inside look interesting:

Looks like it's now ready for Flash, Video, GPS, more IRDA functionality, more usb products, microhphones and a host of other crap we wont all use becuase we're all on 1.5

good news for any 2.01+ users, tbh i'd upgrade, especially if I Was sitting on a 2.6, but also probably 2.5


NO homebrew with it at all, they'veplugged the gta exploit too, which was bitchin' anyway

You can also get it by running the network update from the settings menu.

I use Amazon Steve, usually 25% cheaper than anywhere else I find.

think back to when gta came out and people wanted to upgrade for it, then eventually 1.5 UMD Loaders came out...

but buying all the games u want on umd and using the PSP as a regular games/media machine isn't necessarily a bad thing either.

ya i get that but seems like a real headache getting them to work now

if i could find some were that did the games for like the £20 mark i would just upgrade
