Default Homework and a bit of fun..

I am just entering my final few weeks of my A Level photography course and as part of our final piece of coursework I have to do a project on possessions.. And I thought what better than the old Pissrat.. So in true photshop stylee I mocked up this which will form the back drop to the display for my final images.

I am going to get it printed huge and mounted on a mock billboard sign with my 5 final images all mounted and laid out in front of it.

mate, i like it but i'm so picky...

the logo on the front right wheel should've been the right way up...or so I thought

also the font kerning doesn't look quite right to me, mainly the bottom text, the spacing is uneven, even for text.

only minor things but i'm in a picky sorta mood, so sorry!

    nice idea tho

I was gonna say it's spelt worshipped but I looked it up and it can be either.

Pic looks good to me. What photoshop edits were done? Was the car never there or have you changed the colours etc? Always nosy, that's me

Regardless...I would change it to 'Worshipped'....as I reckon it looks better.

    Cheers guys.

Shangrula - Now I have spotted the centre cap on the wheel it's bugging me, so I'll have to do reshoot.. Grrrrr.. The font was the closet copy of the VW font I could find, not sure why the kerning is out like that, but hopfully the moderator won't be too picky about that. I will re-shoot and move the centre cap though.. Also playyed with both spellings of "worshipped" and couldn't decide but now the vote is in favour of the pp version, that it shall be...

As for the car, well there's no photoshopping done there mate, it's all my own hard work and one hell of a lot of meguires (spelling) cleaning products.. Took about roughly 6 hours to clean the motor to that state, drove to the location and had to touch up clean where some road dirt had spoiled the car, took about 1 hour for the shoot, then home again in the drizzle, car now looks minging again.... But I have the shoots to show for it.
Sorry forgot to explain, I have a passion for VW's stemming from a battered Mk1 driver to my current ride a 20v Turbo Passat Sport Estate. Hence I chose my car as my subject for my final piece on possessions.

oh no, sorry mate it did bug me and if it's mimicking an ad. then you know they'd be the right way up.

You might get lucky and have a bright blue sky, but i'd leave it for a while, the south west weather looks rubbish untill june! lol

edit: on reflection it's perfect for devon weather

Have now played with center wheel cap so it's rotated the right way, don't think you can really notice it's be shopped, also changed spelling of worshipped.. Still not sure what to do about the kerning on the font though, would also like to remove the number plate and replace it with something different - I.e 20V Turbo or Passat, but just can't find the right font anywhere.
