Just got flights for me and my mates direct to Bangkok early next month for £418. That was through Dialaflight http://www.dialaflight.com/ and those prices are awesome for direct flights. It's also EVA Airlines as well so that means a B777 plane. Plenty of leg-room and tv screens for each and every person on the plane with films and games etc. All of that is vital on lobg haul flights.

That's good as well. I've flown Thai but not long haul only within South East Asia so I'm not sure as to the quality of the cabins. Thai Airways stewardesses are smokin hot.

Check the plane specs and then check the flight departure times. I've bought flights in the past and have ended up in a shitty cabin with an overhead tv somewhere to my left that gave me the worst neck pain ever and I also had to spend the night in Slough prior to leaving. Slough is fucking terrible. That's probably not relevant to somebody living in London but don't forget the later the flight the better as you sleep through the majority of it and acclimatize better once you reach Bangkok as they'll be 7 odd hours ahead of us in December.

I've found that the below site can sometimes undercut lastminute.

Just got an email from KLM saying they've got some bargain oriental flights on at the minute, might just be worth checking them out again see if the prices came down for when you're looking at going fella

Postscript: Eva Air was a good flight. Comfortable, good entertainent and checking in took five minutes. Food's not spectacular but all in all one of the best flights I've been on.
