Game playing problem

Problem is when trying to launch a game i get a message.

"cd/dvd emulation software detected, please disable and restart the game"

What the hell is this and how do i get round it?

Are you playing the game legit? or downloaded?

Are you running any form of software that as it says "emulates" the image - such as daemon tools, alchol 120% etc.

this is going to be software along the lines of alcohol 120 or Deamon tools...
an application for mounting an ISO as a virtual CD drive..

you wouldnt be trying to run a dodgey pirated game now would you ?
and if you were to be doing such a activity then the NFO would normal contain some information on how to circumvent the problem.
another option would be to install the game via emulating the cd and then use a NOCD style crack from gamecopyworld.com

Thanks for the help guys, i got it off a mate.

I do have these on my rig, dvd decrypter, stomp record now max, alcohol 120%, Clone dvd, none of which are running.

How do i disable them if they are not running guys ?
Surely i dont have to uninstall them to play it.
