I'd absolutely fucking LOVE a projector for the world cup. Any recommendations for a budget of about £500? (DO they even DO projectors that cheap?!). Oh yeah, it must be on finance too, as i am a pauper.

I don't really know anything about projectors but judging by dell's computer prices this might be good value, finance available too.Originally Posted by copey123

justgot a porjector, its abit crap but k foe 105(new bulb)!
fm tuner for the ipod, tune it to either 98.9 or 105 and drive through town with the raido turned down listening to all the crappy little corsas and saxos playing crazy frog as you go by it winds them up and makes everyone look at them like theyre the piece of crap they are other than messin with people like that being able to play my ipod through the car without any wires is great
I just bought the Nokia N91, well impressed, although as always the "novelty" wears off quickly, sadly this is more apparent the older you get.

not exactly an exspensive toy/gadget.......
but i use it everyday and it appears to the old man in me...

Pc World got Epson Projectors at £499. In-store I did see some nasty looking one at £399. Probably good enough for most purposes though for the price. And they love to sell their finance shit too .Originally Posted by copey123
probably a bit geeky but for my birthday everyone chipped in to get me components for a new PC. My old PC would crash all the time and was interrupting my Warcraft sessions
Ended up with
Pentium 4 3.0ghz Dual Core 64bit 4mbit L2 cache
Radeon x1900xtx
2gb DDR2 RAM
Gigabyte mobo
Wasn't cheap (Especially the £340 gfx card) but my machine kicks ASS now.
For those that want to know it runs F.E.A.R turned up full at around 65-70fps with no optimizing of the system.

Other than that my flatmate bought a Zen Creative M (I think thats the name) Basically a hard drive mp3/mp4 player. Works a treat and no messy re-encoding. More expensive than the iPod but who want to follow the herd

I just bought a network drive. It was a netgear caddy thing which can hold two IDE drives. Only bought one 250 gig one for now.
Its chuffin' class. I link it through my router and now I can have all my mp3s, and divxs, and photos in one place.
Cos me laptop only has a 40 gig drive I really struggled with DVDs all over the place.
And now I am free!!!

my ds lite is great, i use it more than my psp at the moment
other than that I love my dell 20" tft...I have to work most days in front of something, so I figured it might as well be something decent
I'm new to this
I've just got an AV reciever and some surround sound speakers - just got to choose a subwoofer now.
I want on of those Nabaztag wifi rabbits so I can use it for a week then put it in the cupboard for several months then sell it on eBay for £3.99.
Well apart from me new digital slr (Canon 350D) which I got the other week , I am waiting to receive a new DSLite and looking forward to many *experiments* with it
