6680 - White screen

Hi All,

I've got a 6680 on 3 and it won't boot up fully. If you press the power button the screen/keypad lights up but it doesn't do anything further. I assume its not booting at all, because there is no Nokia logo flashed up, and no startup tones are heard. To switch off the battery has to be dropped out (so I assume its locked up before boot starts/completes).

I've been searching the internet and many people reckon a reflash may be able to fix it. The other alernative is a replacement screen, but this doesn't sound like that problem, as the phone is not booting up. Does anyone have any experience of this solution fixing the said symptoms?

You wanna try a re flash first m8 that should cure it try this first thou-

1) Turn OFF your 6680.

2) Press and hold "SEND" + "*" + "3" and turn ON your 6680.

3) Release after your screen flicker 1 time.

Already tried the 3-finger salute, and nothing happened

it could be the screen or some sort of hardware fault for sure if you dont even see the nokia sign
