alot of it is outdated now and protected against - there were exploits such as the hellomoto one etc but as soon as they are found obviously manufacturers try to fix it. Still probably worth a look if you're interested, especially as there will still be plenty of old tech out there that will be vulnerable.

have a look in the downloads section theres a proggie in there that ive had some success with its called forensic mobile manager or something

that was one if the best i tried and about the only one that worked

by that i ment the ones that came with it or the ones that windows provide?

unsure, the bluesoleil drivers that came with it work fine with its own application but mobiledit will only let me see the com or serial ports not the usb? do I have to map it to a com port? any help appreciated mate.

i think it depends on the dongle youve got m8 but mine ran fine on the drivers supplied by windows and on any usb port but on my desk top machine the opposite was true and on that it cant find my phone let alone any others, and it'll only work on 1 usb port on that machine

id try uninstalling the dongle remove the drivers and then reinstall but use the windows drivers and see how it goes
