Can anuone help me out here plz.

I am having problems playing any movies or MP3's when using Windows Media Player. I have installed v11 but this hasnt cured the problem. I have also installed Ace Mega Codec Pro pack, and tried using the VLC player. But usint the VLC player I had to copy/paste the URL of the clips I wanted to watch.

I am baffles by this and it is doing my head in so any suggestions are welcome.
