Default Problem Sending and Recieving MSN Files

I have come across this problem more and more on MSN messanger, and its pissing me off.

If somone sends me a exe. .mp3 .mov type file. When I click the link in MSN window it says windows has blocked the file and then deletes it. So I can see it.

Ive just tried to send my mate a .exe set up file and it says

The file you attempted to send has been detected as potentially unsafe and was not sent.

How can I turn this off. I cant find any options for it ?

    I am using MSN 7.5

Send the file as a zip or rar or whatever, its most likely classed as unsafe cause its a .exe,

    Worth a try.

You will have to rar or zip an .exe file as MSN wont allow the sending of them anymore safe or not. Windows Live Messenger however gives you an option to send or cancel.

Don't even bother compressing it, just rename the file to .txt and then send it. All the recipient has to do is rename it back to .exe
