Program for burning hologram to CD or DVD

Hi,

I'm wondering if someone came across a program which I've seen a few years back. With this little program it was possible to burn some kind of hologram or image into the DATA track of a CD. For example, you use only 100MB of a CD and the rest, which is leftover can be used to burn it in such a way, that you can see an image or some text. I'm not after Lightscribe, Lightscribe uses the top of the CD, what I'm on about is the usage of the leftover space on the data side of the disk. It seems I can't find a program anywhere to do this, other than pointers to Lightscribe.

Can someone point me into the right direction, or got a name of a program for me?

Any help is appreciated.

Are you thinking of DiscT@2 which was on some of the Yamaha drives?

Not sure if other drives support that to be honest?

I think it was used with a Yamaha drive, as I said, it's quite a while ago, seen it in some PC Magazin.

Probably is then mate, there was a version of Nero that supported this on the Yamaha CRW-F1 think it was, sounds like Yamaha have licensed the technology out so you may start seeing it in more drives coming out nowadays

From reading the whitepapers on it the technology basically disables EFM so it can write whereever and whatever it wants to on the disk which gives you the nice looking pictures.

Haven't personally seen any software that can do this on a normal drive mate.
