To my knowledge as soon as he started playing for Liverpool he stopped attending Goodison for games. Doesn't mean he stopped supporting Everton in some small capacity. Likewise McManaman, Owen and Rush. The kind of person that would instantly sever any loyalties with a club that they'd supported from childhood having signed for another is for me really quite a bit of a twat and nothing to be proud of. Carragher isn't a twat.

Carragher's family all have season tickets at Liverpool. Before that they were Evertonians. Can't really blame them for wanting to watch their son play every week. And besides, we need more seats for the Beattie family
