    Default Royal Mail aptitude test info needed

    Hi, i have a Royal Mail aptitude test coming up as i applied for a job with them. Anyone know what sort of questions they ask? I've been told its in 2 parts, numerical and sorting. Thanks in advance.

    Q1. a letter your are delivering seems to have a tear, displaying the contents within...which seems to include several bank notes.

    do you
    A: Knock on the door and hand the item in person, given the monatery value.
    B: stick it thru the letter box as it ante your problem.
    c: pocket the wonga but still plead poverty when its your round down the boozer at 1pm that afternoon.

    Q2. you have several items which are clearly from one of these DVD hire websites

    do you
    A: post them as per normal and wounder what films the recipient might be watching that night
    B: tear it up to have a looksie at the DVD's and then claim it got torn in the auto sorted back at the depo.
    C: consider the wifies xmas prezzie sorted

    Q3 you have 1500 letters to delivery to 300 residence, if the average time to deliver one letter is 15 seconds, how long approximatly will your round take

    A: aproximatly 4 hours taking into account walking times.
    B: it depends on how many letter are per house hold
    C: fuck this for a game of solders...piss the letters in yer locker and get down the rub-a-dub witht he money you skimmed off yesterday round

    used to be a mail sorter f*%k that walking in all weather lark..

    basicly anyone can get a job with royal mail, pass the run of the mill interview then u have a 2 week training course which u are shown videos etc 1 of which shows what happens if ur caught nicking mail etc conclusion = jail everytime saw it happen in leeds the guys still serving a 7 year sentence...

    anyway the training is basicly to get u sorting 300 letters in 30 mins could be more cant rem.
    incoming mail is the first week then outgoing second week..
    when u first get going u think no fooking way am i gunna do this but after 3-4 days it all just clicks into place...

    moneys good on night shift if u can get a fixed shift on nights ur laughing.
    best shift was 1pm - 9pm it flew by plus u get to sleep in and not too late to go on the piss if u fancy it..

    i did this a few years back, they are just checking you can read from what i remember.

    so sorting letters by postcode etc.

    yeah its all multiple choice..well it was when i did it (5 years back)..its all piss easy maths and somebasic questions..yiu shud have had some examples when they gave you the interview date
