Fag machines in pubs etc

I dont even smoke, but whats up with these fag machines in pubs...

They charge way over the odds to begin with, and a 20 pack, will only have say 16 or 17 in it?

So you pay more...but get less...

Why?!?!

Must be a great business to be in, you tell people it will kill them, and they still buy them, you charge them more but give them less, and they still buy them.

What other product would get away with that?? lol

we took an apprentice out for his first bender in the 80's so we sent him
up for his first round and he came back some time later insisting we go up
and play the jukebox ,turns out he put his cash in the juxebox instead of
the fag machine we had dire straits/police and some good old tunes
after his girlfriend picked him up off the floor ah the good ole days

i think my local has 3 of the bastard things, there just isnt any need

and one of those wee cash machines that charges you £1.65 every time you take money out. its a 25 min walk to the nearest free one and nobody can drive if they are in a pub, so they know what they are doing. there is a garage 100 yards away but that shuts at 10 so after than everyone is withdrawing money from the machine to spend in the fag machine. the bar doesnt do debit cards either, robbing bastards

its a generous pub though, not expensive and 35ml shots rather than those shoddy wee 25ml ones that most places give out now. and vodka means smirnoff which makes so much difference the morning after since you can drink a whole bottle of the stuff and not even know you were drinking

Personally even smirnoff gives me dodgy hangovers, as do most clear spirits. The only vodka I will happily drink is Stolichna (dunno how to spell it proper). Also nightclubs use them fag machines probably cos its cheaper than paying for entry again.

lol this place has those 2.5litre bottles, and i have seen them refilling them out of smirnoff 1 litres, or maybe 1.5 litres. i dunno smaller bottles anyway but definitly smirnoff
