the kids that thought of this as a txt tone or ring tone should be given a gcse for ingenuity, (they get them for p.e which was basically running up and down when i was at school -10years ago)

cheers for the tones im going to broadcast them through my little fm tuner when im in the car lol all the little chavs with galaxy 105 playing will get a double dose lol

Great stuff. I can hear some of them, but I also have tinitis

Mate tried it, says it stops his kids in their tracks, and his gf (28yrs) was affected by it as well, apparently she went nuts!!

If I had the volume on quiet, couldn't hear much, but at higher volumes (crappy pc speakers), the first of the very first three was like background noise, the second was annoying, and the final was quite annoying, but would have probably been more so without that changing frequency. Tone 1 of revamped was pretty annoying, tone 2 was less annoying, but it was more annoying when I was in certain positions relative to the speakers, in some I could hardly hear it at all.

Im 25, as it says, but my hearings not the best of all 25 years olds, i struggle to hear whats going on when there is too much background noise (i think too much loud music when I was younger).

Also, found out why some people can hear the sound and some don't. Depending on what your using and which codecs and what player, you may hear sound or nothing. I could'nt hear the some of the files through Windows Media Player, but VLC played them with sound!

Some of em are plain easy to hear however I couldn't hear the 18 one (may be my speakers) but all the others I could. Then again, I remember someone near us having one of those cat deterrent devices that make the loud pitches that only the cats are meant to hear and it drives my girlfriend mad (she's 18) yet I couldn't hear it! (I'm 19).
If you leave it on it will also give you a headache.

I might just leave it on all day in the house to keep the little twat of a cat out!

brown noise aka brown note.... Did'nt have any effect on me or anyone I know. I think you need a decent speaker/sound system in order to produce the note low enough and loud enough to have any effect, if at all.
