It's that simple?

I've ordered myself a DS Lite so will get that on release day over here.
I've read the sticky on the top and want to try and make this as easy as possible.
From what I understand, all I need to do it the following -

1. Get DS Lite
2. Get Datel Media Launcher
3. Get Memory Card or some description (i.e. SD Card)
4. Get ROM (Unpatched)
5. Copy ROM on Mem Card.
6. Play.

Am I missing a huge whacking step here?
I think I may need to do something else but if I'm not having to open the DS and all that then count me in!

Right then. Done a bit more reading and it seems pretty straight forward

I'll order myself the Datel device and a Supercard MiniSD (although it states on www.cheapmod.net that it isn't compatible with the coloured DS's. Hopefully it will work with the Lite).

It's a bit mind boggling having to have a card in the GBA slot and one in the DS slot!

Edit - Actually, the cheapmod site says the coloured DS's firmware needs to be downgraded to make the Supercard compatible but nothing on the official website, just that it is compatible with all systems.

Gone ahead and ordered both the Datel Media Launcher and Supercard MiniSD (from Cheapmod.net).
Just got to wait until the Lite is released now! lol

Any recommendations on the make of Mini SD card?
SanDisk seem pretty reasonable in price but are they fully compatible?

Just received my Supercard and I only ordered it yesterday.

Right then.
Got my Supercard SD, 2Gb Mini SD card and the Datel Media Launcher all ready for the release of DS Lite.
Have been playing around with the stuff in anticipation but have noticed something that I'm not sure is right.
When I plug the 2Gb card into the top of the Supercard, it makes a click but can just be pulled straight back out again.
It sounds like it is supposed to lock the card into place but doesn't.
If I press the card in further then it springs back out.
Is this normal?

i use the supercard mini sd, it just slots in no clicking or springing.

after I run the rom through the supercard mini sd software I copy it over and play, simple as.

Sorry, obviously forgot to mention but it's the mini sd Supercard I've got.
Just hope the mini sd card doesn't fall out whilst using the DS.
I can imagine that wouldn't be too healthy! lol
