Good multi-player games ?

ok so my lovely girlfriend bought me a nice shiny white gamecube complete with Mario Smash Football for my birthday (which I have now fitted with a Qoob Pro ), which I have to say is way better than what I thought it was going to be. Am loving Mario Smash Football, kinda reminds me of Speedball 2 on the Amiga

I have not got 3 extra controllers coming this week so, what multi-player games do you guys recommend ? Ideally 4 player ones and something not too difficult so my non-gaming friends and girlfriend can at least join in !

mario party and monkey ball mini games are great fun.
super smash bros melee can be fun too, 4 player mayhem.
theres also bomberman in battle mode

WarioWare, MarioCart are good multiplayer.

the king of multiplayers on any format is WarioWare, its unbelievable fun.

4 player i would suggest something like f-zero GX or super monkey ball. For 1 on 1 action Soul Calibre 2 is great fun. It's button-mash-tastic for new GC players.

if you're looking for good multiplayer fighting games, try any of the naruto series on GC, 4 way chaotic action

Ill play it for hours with friends.
I even play it with the kids i babysit.
Its great for all ages.
