    Default Battlefield servers....

Anyone else have problems connecting and staying connected to the EA servers for BF2???? This is my first EA game that Ive played on live and all I can say is that the servers are sh1te!
Always takes a few attempts to get a game and then a lot of the time I get kicked!!!!!

Been a couple of times where Ive been able to play for an hour or so with no issue, but that aint good enough!!!! Surely those feckers at EA have enough money to provide some decent servers!

Or is it just me and should I start worrying about my tech!

make sure your NAT is open and that you have the following ports open for your router (if you have one)

    TCP & UDP - 88
    TCP & UDP - 3074

Only time I've experienced problems is a Sunday evening. But only took a little while to connect. Otherwise there's never an issue.

Ye you have to mess about with settings to get EA servers working right. I haven't played on live in months, but when I did I could play pgr3 fine on live but couldnt connect for FIFA and Tiger Woods. Messed about with my modem /router and I eventually got it working. Dont remember how though!
