I've got rid of all the annoying "nag ware" pop ups advising me my copy of windows is not genuine etc.. but when I start up my pc I still get the message about this on the start up screen and the option to "resolve now" or "resolve later". Is there also a way to get rid of this? It's no big problem as, like Isay, it is only on the start up screen and once I click "resolve later" I dont see it again but I just wondered if it could be removed somehow.
Also, I have microsoft updates turned off as if I put it back on then it will autamtically install the WGA crap again, how can I get any other updates without also getting this one again? If I got to the site and install manually surely the WGA will just install again, I want to bypass this and get any other security updates etc. that I dont already have.
Advice appreciated, thanks.
