I am writing a speech in Microsoft Works and don't want my missus snooping around and reading it. Is there anyway of putting a password on the document? At work we use Corel and it's easy as pie to do this.
Can it be done in Works?

I deleted works in favour of office, I don't know if it's the same but in office, on the 'save as' screen in the top right there is a drop down menu called 'tools' with 'security options' in it.
I'm sure someone will point you in the right direction in works, but if not then you could always rar it or zip it.
not sure about works...
but if you cant find an answer and simply wanna password the file, winrar it and stick a pass on the rar.
Unfortunately there's very few option in the "Save As" menu, only a "Save" "Cancel" or "Template". Bit annoying really.
I think rar is the only option. If my missus wasn't so "interested" (nosey more like) then I wouldn't have this problem. Cheers for the replies fellas.
You newlyweds just can't trust each other, can she
rarpass is the way mate, as said. "Works Editor" is too much of a cross between wordpad and paint to be of any use in that area
