I thought of that as soon as I opened the ds box and saw how well made and good looking the dummy gba thing was. Don't think I've got the balls to try it just yet though.

I had a go at doing this mod the other night, i cut out pretty much everything inside the dummy cart, all the little ridges but it's still a squeeze, i think i need to grind down some of the plastic some more for a better fit. Or remove the battery and reattach it to the right a bit (there's enough room to fit a battery in there and make a much better fit)

But the problem is the ezflash was too high so the cart still stuck out a bit, so either i've got to grind down the top part a bit or cut a mm or so off the bottom of the ezlight.

Will have a go when i have some time at weekend

and i used a sharp tweezer to unscrew the triwing, its pretty easy and requires no strength so you dont bend your tweezer tips

also you will have to glue it for sure cause i dont see any way to screw it together again....but i see a potential if you have the right tools, a very small drill bit for plastic (so it wont crack it) can make a self screw hole

if you are worried about what if your microsd card gets stuck in there and you'd have to break it open to take it out, either use a tweezer again or put some tape to make a flap on your microsd card so it pulls out like a tape tab on the end

excellent, pity we have to glue it together tho, i want a lite to do this mod

looks like a mm could be shaved off the edge connector too, if thats possible without ruining the board
