If you assume it is legit, then it must be exploiting the emulation of the original xbox. Now the drive is hacked backup xbox 1 games can be used and perhaps the splinter cell exploit has been used to launch the unsigned code?
It's real.
If this is real and sure it is, i would say only with a modchip and I'd think its testers for the devil360 modchip .....
its real confirmed by team Xecuter
Just thank MS for leaving their emulator full of holes...
Sounds like you know something Gel
The kiosk disc was a good indicator that MS were concentrating too much on the security of their machine as opposed to the games, I guessed the emulator was going to be weak also... It appears it indeed is.
But I wouldn't believe a word that Team Xecuter spouts as we have been down this road already in the last 12 months with them and the PSP.
They made a modchip, and lots of gadgets... and that's great...but it doesn't mean everything they say is true.
I agree mate, I've lost all respect for Team Xecuter over the last 12 months or so. Still here's hoping...
Lol I think you just signed your own death warrant. But I wouldn't believe a word that Team Xecuter spouts as we have been down this road already in the last 12 months with them and the PSP.
Just calling it as I see it mate, I know lots goes on behind the scenes etc but...Originally Posted by CueballKrill

This vid seems to support the screenshots, don't think they are from the same source though?
this looks the real deal
interesting... hmm...
Time Flies when you're having fun! A decade of DF - April 2002-2012.
If it wasnt for the user signing in and the shutdown blades coming across with the timer still ticking in bottom left corner it could be easily faked, but i'm not sure how you could fake that?
from maxconsole.netRumour: Xbox Homebrew On Xbox 360 Video
A few days back we displayed images of Xbox 1 homebrew running on the 360 and it recognizing a significantly larger hard drive in the 360. During our routine Youtube surfin', we came across a video which seems to show Xbox 1 homebrew running on a 360 (but you don't see the actual console), it is not from the original source and we're inclined to believe this video is a fake. Just to make it clear, this is NOT from the same source as our previous news.
..I'm with MC here, the video could be faked easily by someone with video editing skills. I don't see the point of screenshots or video though, this kinda thing was done by the specialist as there were obvious reasons as to why he didn't make the firmware hack public... but this homebrew thing doesn't circumvent protection or anything by the looks of it, so why bother with sh1tty images, just go straight for release...

Another video of homebrew running on the 360 using an undisclosed xbox1 emulator exploit. I'm convinced
seems to me like there's still some work needs to be done given the second video. He's stated that it doesn't work very well yet, but personally I'd rate that as unplayable.. the xbox1 can do far better than that. Hell, the ps1 can do better!
I didn't notice any game selection screen either, and the dye on the underside of the disk looks like DVD media.. so does this mean only 1 game per DVD..? huge waste there if so.
Certainly seems more feasible now. But still has a fair way to go before it's any use really. IMO
