Bank charges...want them all back ?

Ive read in papers lastweek that banks have started closing down accounts

of people that have asked for their bank charges back.

Anyone know this of being true to anyone or just the usual shit what papers

come up with?

Thinking of asking for my statements back in next few days.

Consumer Action Group does warn that the bank might close your account, they might also put a note on your credit rating making it difficult to get another account easily, it's best to open a spare first, just in case.

Sent my letter off last night requesting the statements, now we wait and see.....

Ive got an overdraft and paying it off weekly to get back straight.

What will happen to my overdraft i owe if they close my account.

Its just scare tactics, i know over 50 people who have succesfully claimed back charges and NONE have even been threatened of account closure.

Just send the DPA request m8, it only costs a £10, you dont need to go into your bank, they wont help you anyway. Just send the letters to the banks head office and deal with them directly, thats how you do it
