*** Analogue on 42" Plasma

Firstly apologies if this is in the wrong place but all these TV forums and sub forums, and sub sub forums baffle me.

Straight to the point then.

• I have a 42" Plasma telly
• I am on ***
• My area has not been converted to *** digital yet
• Hence I am getting my TV via *** Analogue service
• The quality is SHITE - there are speckled lines running horizontally at a few points on the screen when I watch it.
• I cannot be doing watching the new premiership season trying to fathom out which line is the touchline.
• The only way I can get rid of them is if I turn the contrast right down, wheupon it is so dark on screen that I have to squint.

A long shot, but is there any possible way that I could fix this or maybe connect it to my TV via some super dooper cable that will improve the quality as I simply cannot afford to be forking out for SKY at this moment (wedding to save for etc)

as far as i know mate there is nothing u can do. there is no way to make up for the shit quality that the provider sends down the cable.
