Bleep Test

Right ... some of you may have taken this test its where there are 2 markers 20 meters appart and you have to run between the two markers between the bleeps, I have this in the next couple of weeks and I was wondering does anyone have the audion of the bleep test so I can whack it on my mp3 to train with.

Cue heart attack... fuck me, Steve Austin couldn't even do that!

I manage an under 9's football team in a local league, I'll try them out with it and see what level they can get to. See how many of them moan or quit - hehe...

Apparently Paul Gascoigne got to level 16 to fail a fitness test after coming back from injury and Seb coe got to level 21.
He was a great sprint finisher in middle distance so that would be possible i guess !
To pass one of the fitness tests for the fire brigade recruitment tests for surrey and London a few years ago you had to reach level 9.6.

A good technique is to pivot on the line on the ball of your foot this enables you to slide over slightly without taking an extra step.

another good tip is to rotate the way you turn at each end it causes less strain on the legs and you should get 2 warnings in a row to catch up before you are stopped.

i did A level PE and we had to get to level 14. cant believe i had to be fitter than firefighters. ha ha.

I cant beleive anyone could get to level 21. thought it was impossible just so everyone had a level. He must have been serioulsy fit.
