Waddington Air Show

Spent the day at Waddington Air Show yesterday. The weather was fantastic (cue sunburn.. Note to self - factor 4 isn't strong enough!!), and the show itself was stunning, and relentless, they weren't kidding when they said it was a 6 hour show. I took over 4200 shots with my shiny new D200 and had to download 5 full 2Gb cards onto my laptop to make sure I had enough capacity. The one thing that pissed me off was that I seemed to have a lot of focus problems (particularly with the Spitfires for some reason?). Anyway, here are some the ones I've managed to have a look at so far.

Some great shots there! im jealous lol i'd love to get to an airshow, i never seem to hear about them though or they're never anywhere near where i am! I'll be going to the big military display/airshow in Southport later this year though, definately not missing that one.

Anyways, once again, nice shots red arrows ones are great and i love the ww2 ones, the lancaster bomber is fucking huge lol

Does anyone know what that spitfire with a second rear cockpit is? ie what model?

Some great images, nice vibrant colours. Makes a difference having a nice blue sky to shoot against.
