Guitar Hero coming to Xbox 360 ? ROCK ON !!!

I know all the Sony boys have been excited about this game , so why cant we have it ? Well from a recent email ...

"Hi,

Given the fantastic response to Guitar Hero, it’s pretty likely that there will be sequels. An Xbox 360 version is being heavily requested, so I’d say there’s a reasonable chance one will be done. However, there is nothing concrete yet, and it will take quite a bit of time to do well.

Damn, so I need to get some more guitars, this could get expensive.

Not sure what the 360 would add to the experiance as graphics are not really anything at all as far as the gmeplay goes.

Considering the cost of making the unique controller and making sure it reaches a wide audience - it makes sense to do it on PS2.

Xbox 360? I kind of doubt it.

X06: Guitar Hero II headed to the 360

This should be no surprise given past statements by Activision, but RedOctane has announced that Guitar Hero II will be ported to the Xbox 360. Players will be able to strum rhythm, lead or bass guitar tracks, download new content via microtransactions, and use a new 360 controller called the X-Plorer. There's no release date as of yet. More info about gameplay is expected when RedOctane gets around to presenting the game on the X06 showfloor.

Guitar Hero II Final Tracklist Revealed

After a year of wishlists, speculation and even a bit of "slipped" information, RedOctane finally has revealed to us the final licensed tracklist for Guitar Hero II.Totaling 40 tunes in all, spread over eight difficulty levels, the sequel to our Best Music Game of 2005 seems to have an even wider range of rock-oriented music than the first time out. From Guns 'N Roses to the Police to Dick Dale, Guitar Hero II runs the gamut of rock.

We recently learned at Microsoft's X06 that Guitar Hero II is coming to Xbox 360 in spring 2007.

I will have to wait and see what the downloadable content is like as I was very disapointed with the tracks in GHII.

Because there's quite allot of difference between learning to play the guitar, and playing a rhythm game on a console with a guitar shaped controller. Can't really compare the 2.
