Foum posts-I can't see them.

Firstly, may I say that this problem doesn't apply in this forum as all seems to work fine here.
In some forums I go in, when I make a post instead of taking me to the post it takes me back to the post/thread I was replying to and I can just see the top half of the, "you are not authourised to view this page" error page at the bottom of the screen and my post doesn't shoe up, although I see the links at the bottom that display all the replies and mine are there so the post has registered fine.
I recently did a syytem restore and the problem has only comre about since then so this has obviously caused something.
On start up of my pc, I get an error message about "bttray", cant remember exactly what it is, can this be something to do with it?

Sounds like the other forums aren't configured right. Old versions of IPB used to do that for me

The bttray.exe will be a bluetooth app/receiver you've installed.

But I have never had a problem with either of the 2 forums before, is this imply a coinsidence that it has happened just after the system restore, even though it has been fine for a year/year and a half? I'll reinstall the bletooth software to ee if that helps that problrem

You could try running system file checker in case anything's gone funny. Start - Run - SFC /Scannow

Install firefox and use that and see if it compares favourably to IE (or visa versa) Could have a browser hijack. Can you see www.microsoft.com ok ?
