games like oblivion just dont interest me, i dont want a huge environment with 10000 interective characters and a billion different outcomes, i just cant be bothered with that. I much prefer the zelda or Final Fantasy style RPG. save the princess, save the day. hoorah!

Best game ever? Super mario bros 3, the first game i really played, after duckhunt I think its almost impossible for people to agree on this sort of topic now, its like movies, different people enjoy different games and for different reasons.

Vice City is in my Top 5 for sure. As for my "best" tooooooo hard to choose as I play many different genres. Command & Conquer have always been good

I can still load up C&C: Red Alert and waste a good few hours on it, Champ Man too. As this is PC games it kind of limits my choice since most gaming has been done on consoles.

Well, as it's in the PC Games section, I'll go for Solitaire. Easily the one I've played the most when work's net goes down.

Shame really as when Lucasarts did their adventure games they were ace, still got my copy of Zak McKracken on the C64 somewhere, now that's an old one!

Not played any of those types of games for years, Grim Fandango was probably the last one, anyone still making anything similar?

I think Oblivion, but i also like Unreal Tournament, and Ageof Empires 3, i guess i'll go with Oblivion since you can play over 100 hours and still not beat the game.

Broken Sword 1 &2 were brilliant, number 3 wasnt so good. Syberia 1 &2 are stunning but i never made it all the way through so I cant really judge. The Longest journey games were also pretty decent but again I never finished them.

I will always consider MI and BS1&2 as my fav point and clicks.

Here's a few of my favorite games (PC only) that I probably spent the most time playing.

C&C (the original)
Dune 1 (i loved the mix of RTS and adventure)
Indiana Jones and the Search for Atlantis.
Duke Nukem 3D (... and I'm all outa gum) (great modem multiplayer - those darn phone bills + I really got into map making)
UT (the original. soo much fun had here)
Half Life 2 (the newest game I actually enjoyed and clocked)
Warcraft 3 (great game, plus the story kept me interested)
Rise of the Triad (serial link multiplayer anyone? also the most blood and guts i'd ever seen in a game)
All the Doom games (blew me away)
All the Civilisation games (v.good but i think they could get much better)

I don't play many games these days, I still try most of the new games but it takes a lot for me to get interested, probably because I've grown up.

Choosing an all time favorite is really hard, if you decided it on time spent playing i guess it would have to be either Duke, Civ or UT. hmmmm
