I guess there will be a season 3 then! But just a few things I wanna know...

-What happened to the money? Is it still there?
-Who were the gov't agents after in the scene where Sara was released by the Panaman police?

They did say season 3 will be a lot more violent, the prison certainly shows that.

American notes, as with most are resistant to damage from water as they're made of fabric. So no doubt they'll be back there again scuba diving when michael breaks out and they inevitably meet up again.

personally, After watching the episode and reading all your comments about how it may go on from here, I, for one, am quite excited about the prospect. I expected series 3 to go downhill but they have a great deal of potential in the can of worms they opened on monday night!

Although I also didn't think it was the best episode, it did give a good foundation for a season 3.
Would be interesting to see what they come up with and I think they will surprise us.
The writing so far has been well thought out(for the most part) exciting and full of ingenious schemes. If they can continue this then fantastic.

With regards to the start of this whole new plotline, I think I might be impressed with the writing of it if they'd planned whats happening now since the beginning, or at least near the beginning. Season one was brilliant. Season two had a few too many far fetched events, and some things werent really as well thought out or written as they should have been. There were also some pretty big flaws in parts of the story during season 2.

I'm pretty sure the only reference to sona and what it might be about was only brought up in the last few episodes. If that's the case, then they're just squeezing out every last drop of money out of it they possibly can by going off on a completely new and insane plot, purely as an excuse to have a third season.

Also episode 22 was terribly rushed. Too many conclusions were wrapped up without enough detail, explanation or build up. They should have dedicated at least two episodes to concluding the story to the point its at now.

i guess they had it planned all along that guy had sona? on a bit of paper. but why there... yea i think micheal was there long goal but why didnt they just taken him from the start he wasnt a one man army..... unless it is just for revenge

FFS - great series, but why do they always draw these things out. should have ended on a high not another open ending for a second series.

If its going to go all lost it can fuck off, the slight (ok very slight) realism was good. they should learn from things like the office, where the UK version stopped on a high and the US one goes on and on till the last viewer drops.

Crappy ending I thought, so far it has been more or less realistic with a "it could happen" theme. But now nearly all the guys who are alive are in a Panamian prison? apart from Sucre, and it's all a experiment? Hmm...well, if you are willing to forget Season 1 and Season 2, then Season 3 might be interesting. Poor Bellick btw

Shame the series has come to an end, I've really enjoyed season 2 although a bit stupidly far fetched from time to time!
