How planned were your kids?

Was wondering about this last night.

I have one child with my wife that was very planned but happened a little quicker than we both thought it would. Our daughter is mint and a delight to behold and I couldn't be happier. I feel I have done most of the things I wanted to do on my own and as a couple with Mrs Root.

Question really is were your kids planned? If you have multiple kids then was your first one planned? Do you regret having kids if they weren't?

Have a 14 month old daughter and wouldn't change a single second of it since she was born.

On another note I wasn't planned either and was the result of some frolics on Avenham Park if anyone knows it. Strangely enough though my folks are still together 36 years later even though I had the youngest parents in my class at school.

I voted planned, but as yet don't have any, although in about 2 weeks that's about to change.

Number one......planned (now 7)

number two......planned (now 5)

Number three....Antibiotics cancelled out the pill (now 1)

Number four(due jan)....bird never took the pill for 2 days (unplanned)


Gutted when i found out number 3 was on the way but made up when he was born.Number 4 was a pleasant surprise wasn't gutted at all for some reason and can't wait now.

Just had our first kid 5 weeks ago today!!... and it was planned..

Bloody nightmare though, as my missus is a fertility nurse so it was textbook shagging...lol on the right dates etc etc... quite funny though... had more sex than when we first met..lol


she fell on the second month.. and already planning the 2nd kid for 3 years time..

first one wasnt and god knows how it happened as I was based in cyprus at the time... lol... nahhh she came over for two weeks and went home with a bun in the oven.

Just got the one child, 15month old boy.
It was planned, but as with Bert happened a lot quicker than we thought!
Like straight away.

Wife 'Shall we try for a baby'
Me 'Ok'
Wife 'Right I'll come off the pill'

1 month later...

Wife 'I think I'm pregnant'
Me 'Oh shit.......'

Couldn't be happier now though!

Absolutely made up with my little nipper - I think it's really what I was born to do. I love her to bits, and we're going to have another one in a couple of years when she starts school or whetever it is, pre-school, nursery something like that.

Planned, I used to work for a Unilever company and borrowed a gadget that told you when the woman was fertile, this way I didn't have to shag her too much
It only took about 4 weeks and she was pregnant.

Not planned, 20 at the time....wouldnt change my 13 year old for the world though..hes a top lad no longer with his Mum who was a pain in my ass for a long long time after but we get along fine now which is really good for our lad. I see him every thursday and have him to stop every weekend.

no1 planned (son) then No 2 (girl) planned (april)so as mrs got all summer off and not carry a baby in hot summer months as she works (ill use that loosely) in the nhs

Unplanned but have never been happier............ He was 6 months last Saturday and since hes been around there hasnt been a bad day with him
