Ahh fcuk it. Traditional intro

I'm a married, 29 yo Londoner employed as a research scientist for an American pharmaceutical company. Have a degree in pharmacy and a phd in neurosciences. I drive a Golf Gti and am currently in the process of building a carputer from scraps (in-car PC with TFT screen in dash and base unit in the boot). My major interests include politics (e.g. Middle East crisis), IT and travel.

Well GTI, it wasn't that painful after all, was it.

You will earn much more respect treating the forum as a give and take marketplace, as opposed to a treasure trove to keep stealing from.

I must admit, if Marcode had been his usual self, you wouldn't have got this far and if I had been on a couple of hours earlier, you would be 'toast' by now.

Hehe, you wouldn't be the first person to ask. You're better off asking a gardener because anything I touch dies straightaway.

As for mind altering chemicals, a chemist mate and I did once synthesize a little something (after hours) in the University labs. We kept the off white powder in my fridge for a week before I had the kahunas to try a little in my tea.... Sheeeet! I was tripping pretty bad, I actually thought all my flatmates were stormtrooper trying to take me down.

I'm pleased to say that was the last time I ever took any form of ilicit drugs. I'm now a pretty boring, teetotal married bloke

Nope, sorry. I must have passed out quite soon after because I woke up with a thumping headache and no other memory other than fighting off my flatmates with a desklamp.

What my mate and I made was 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) but in a very crude, unpurified form. I'm actually lucky to still be alive... So please don't try this at home folks!!!!

Some may think they are strange bedfellows but passing large brown envelopes stuffed with cash to political lobbyists is no doubt part of the skill set for any ambitious go getter in your industry.
