American DS

Just a couple of quick questions,

My mum is going to America next month, if i ask her to pick me up a DS whilst she is out there -

a) will i be able to buy a UK charger for it and will it work on a US model
b) will it run UK games

My last question is if i wanted to set it up so it can run Rom as describe in other threads what would be the additional cost for all the bits excluding the DS itself.

the console its self is identical to the one bought in the UK, the only difference is the mains adapter, but u can pick up one here for about a fiver or get a USB charger for about a quid.

Yeah as 909 said, totally region free gaming

For a charger, look for a cheap GBA one, it'll work a treat

GBA chargers will not charge the DS Lite, as the DS lite charger connector is smaller.

Oooh cheers Glen, I've not even laid eyes on a Lite yet. Nintendo are being too tight to give me one.
