Default Exporting mail settings from MS Outlook 2003

Does anyone know if there is a way to export the mail account settings from outlook 2003? It can be done in outlook express but not outlook. Seems a glaring omission to me. Perhaps I am being thick.

Anyone care to offer some help.

    thanks

What would you be exporting them to?

I use Genie Outlook backup when wiping my pc but it creates a file that I re-import into Outlook again. Would you be after using a different program altogether?

You have to export the keys from the registry, you'll loose the passwords but all other settings for the mail accounts will be retained.

Just open up regedit and navigate to this key

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\Outlook]

Then just export it and i'll save everything under that tree for you to a .reg file

import anywhere you want and voila
