a very kind offer from you. I've got a 60hz TV, so it'd be nice to take advantage of this. After looking over the mod here it seems like i'd be alright untill I had to solder, I know i'd bugger the pins up on the SNES and then after all this i'll not even get thing I wanted.
I'll be in touch
I've just sorted a bank trasnfer with the guy, he said he weighs 40kg so i'm paying £10 per Kilo of pure gaming power. sweetness.
I'm new to this
aye thats the mod, ive seen my mate do it, long before i knew how to solder, its not so hard but lifting the pin is tricky, the difference in speed it makes is amazing, well its 17% so thats quite alot.
Infact i think theres similar mods for the megadrive, if theres any you want doing id be happy to, i love fishing about with mods like this.
thanks mate much appreciated, i'd be sure to send some parts/beer funds for your troubles.
I've soldered a few things before, but my main memory is a nokia phone when I tried to change the led's a few years back. Screwed it up bigtime. Although I think it was more the polarity of the leds than the huge blobs of soldered-crap all over the place, but i'm sure both contributed to the death of my 8210
And we both know I can't even solder a viper, so console mods are probably outta the question. I'll take a look first though - gotta learn somewhere afterall!
I'm new to this
how on earth did you get this bargain
i see you auction sniped it then!
good on ya!
first batch arrived earlier today (yeah, it's so big it's in batches!)
I've got about 20 snes games, 10 n64 games, 8 mega drive games, 8 mega cd games, 6 dreamcast games, 7 xbox games, 3 x360 games, loads of cables, lots of controllers and a SNES which is already getting hot
I may just have to set it all up tomorrow and snap some pics...just for prosperity mind. but it does make me a little bit happy that my console collection is now expanding to a point that I'm more than happy with
Now i've just got to find Mario Kart, Mario World, Legend of zelda, Mario paint ,Secret of Manor, Final Fantasy and few other classic games and of course, the nintendo scope and i'll be sorted - well the snes will be, i've got a mountain of other consoles I want to get games for too now
(woohoo I didn't get skanked )
I'm new to this
now all you need is some kinda junction box so ya got em all in 1 telly lol, love to see a pic
LOL!
I wonder where they'll all go?
Some games
Misc. ninty games!
Woohooo cables galore!!!!
Now all I've got to do is connect them all up, find enough power sockets (might be pretty hard, i'm in a old house), find enough A/V adapters (I think I can scrap by if I can temporarily use some RF adapters for now on some consoles) and then the easy part - find a game I want to play
My TV isn't anywhere near hif def, although it manages to make a high frequency noise whenever it's on I think that's not what I want
Ah well, moral of the story here is, eBay is bargain central, looking reeps rewards, people who can't sell properly never get a good price and the most important part, I always win
now it's time to make sense of all the wires and go buy about 10AA batteries - yep I got skanked out of batteries but did recieve about 30 morrisons shopping bags and 10 used tea towles ...
I'm new to this
Great deal you got there mate. I would have been gutted to let all that go for the price you paid
Regards
