yeah I thought so, the xbox 360 premium sealed the deal for me I think, although as i've never really had a extensive collection it'll be wicked to rock all these old consoles. I may even keep them all.

I was going to post it before the auction ended but I sorta got a bit selfish with it. I actually found the deal while looking for a SNES last night, I figured i'd never win it but slapped £300 on it anyway, worth it for the 360 alone.

Half Life 2 works beautifully on the 360 as well, although you'll need the hard drive for the emulator. Good win that, well done.

yeah i was dubious about that although I've got his name, address, phone number and mobile, so I can talk to him and check his dets via interpol so I sorta start trusting people like that, although it's still heavily on my concience and i'm treading carefully with it. While I've asked for a paypal transfer (still worth a shot) I've done many a bank transfer before and never been 'fully' robbed blindly. Although i've nearly been twice for around £200 a time (PSP's)

not really. I want to play (and possibly patch) the x360 but I never actually wanted to spend that much money on a snes - which is really all I ever wanted.

As I've never owned any of consoles before except the megadrive (childhood robbery) so I'm making up for some spare time. I did also want a xbox a little while back to test as a media centre, so fingers crossed it's capable of a few upgrades here and there.

As for things like the dreamcast, saturn, sega cd, n64 ect, well I may get rid of some, but I also love the idea of having them all - so for now, they're all mine mwuahaha

I can see myself keeping all consoles 'cept the 360 - and if I suddenly fall into a good horse win, i'll keep it too. but it'd be stupid to go depleating my growing float now wouldn't it? also the 360 is the most boring one of the lot


edit: just spoke to the guy and he seems just generally upset it didn't go for more money, poor guy . I feel like i've robbed him!

You should try get hold of a PCengine for your collection, theyre so small you wouldnt believe and the graphics are great when you think they were arround in the NES/MS era.

I got one, just to do the RGB mod, thought id sell it after that but ive just kept it for now.

one thing sheng, since you got a PAL snes you should really do the 60hz mod on it, gets rid of the borders and runs games at their true speed, you need an rgb scart lead too obviously but id guess a cube one would work.

If you want i can do the mod for you, never had chance to do it myself cos i got an NTSC snes.
