    Help active x

    my pc keeps asking for active x to be installed is it safe as ive been told its not

    if it is a web site asking for you to install an active x control always check the company is someone you would trust (suppose M$ would come under that )

    you should only install active X from trusted sites as it effectively give control of your pc to the site while they install software, to get updates from microsoft you need to let them install active X on your machine.

    Take my word for it if you do install active X from a dodgy site it is hard work getting your PC clean without a complete install.
