Fifa world cup live problems

Just stred playin FIFA world cup on live, the gameplay is really slow and keeps freezing

play lots of other games on live and dont have a problem
tried lots of times and still always slow and freezing
I am on 2MB t/west and I'm connected via ethernet cable from a router

any ideas ?

Hate to say it but I think its mainly to do with EA's servers. I used to play it quite a bit also and had some silimar problems, although not as bad as you by the sound of it.

If you are connecting ok and playing the game without being dis-connected, then there is not really too much you can do, except try and play games with people close to you ie likely to have a low ping.

You havnt got anything else running in the background or downloading etc?

It's partly down to EA's servers but a mate of mine used to get lag regularly until he upgraded from a 1MB to 4MB connection with N*L.

Must be the EA servers then.
I have played a few games where it has lost the connection half way through a game, but i put that down to the thrashing I was giving the other player and they just couldn't take it anymore lol
