Ever since I recieved a Brita water filter as a gift I've changed my opinoin of water.
Before it felt like something to drink, but to rarely enjoy due to it's temperature out the tap and the taste I've associated with it. As a young'un I lived out of a well (horrible parents feeding me fish heads, lol) the water was pretty crap, probably sounds nice and clean but when it goes brown you change your mind.
moved to uni, water was colder (up north!) but still tasted a bit crap. 8 pints a day seemed like a joke, probably had less than half and not every day.
moved again, water got worse. Hard or soft, never know what's best but I moved from one to another and both don't taste great and again, (obviously) always comes out warm.
Now I'm on the Brita diet I have cold, filtered, tasty (i.e. no taste!) water at my disposal 24/7. I often get my fill, if not more, of the daily 'recommended' amount of water. I can't get enough of it.
A pit of brita filtered water on regular use costs about 0.015p per pint. Compare that to your bottled that comes out of a tap somewhere else.
If you really want botteled water, buy one, then reuse it every day by refilling at home, takes all of 20 seconds, saves £1 a day and means you know what's in your water.
Or just don't drink any and suffer a wealth of health issues
