My reason for not is that I have a 360 and that hardly gets used! When I do use it it is the arcade games I play and nothing appeals to me on the PS3. So i'll keep my 360 (Dead Rising out next week so will have a game to play!) and get a Wii when it's released.

Sorry Sony. I did have a PS1, a PS2 Slim(briefly) and currently have a PSP which I am reluctant to offload for £100 when it cost the missus nearly £300 at xmas! But PS3 i'll have a go in game and that'll be that.

in the same boat. Had a ps1&2, my ps2 hasnt been used for ages. My psp gets no use what so ever as i have a DS which kicks its ass gameplay wise. Im not gonna shell out a fortune for a PS3 unless I see some pretty unbelievable games that are not available on my 360. At the moment the better games seem to be scheduled for the 360 (pro evo 6, gears of war and halo 3)

DS is just excellent. Couple of guys at work have them so Lunch times are fun now with Tetris battles, Mario Kart, Super Monkey Ball, New Super Mario, Metriod Hunters etc... all pick up and play games.

Has the PS3 went officially into production yet, as Sony seem to be keeping mum. Its gonna seem like a rush job to get so many consoles ready by November.

yes iu would love to buy one at release but from what i have seen of the price over£400 then they can keep it for six months untill the price comes down .
will play it in the games shops first

Was in game this morning pre-ordering Dead Rising for 360. He asked me if I wanted to pre order a PS3 or Wii. I asked him release dates and his reply was 'November-ish' for both of them...

He looked clueless however.
