    Question Decent Credit Card

Just got a letter from LLoyds TSB informing me that the APR on my Credit card was being bumped up from 11.9% to over 20%. With me having a bit of money on it at the moment and likely to need to use it quite a bit in the next 12 months or so due to impending wedding I was wondering if you guys had any idea of decent deals knocking about on credit cards.

Not too fussed about the 0% on balance transfers as the current balance is only at about £300 but 0% on purchases for as long as possible is a must.

PS.I applied for a Mint card and got bloody rejected, despite receiving one letter per month from them for the past....327 thousand years.

D'ya have any idea which of the companies are most lenient with their credit checking (mine isn't too bad, just a bit sparse due to age)

    Many thanks

I just transferred the balance off my egg card onto virgin for 12 months 0% with information gained off money saving expert.
It also has 3 months 0% on purchases, have a sniff on their forum m8 for the best options to suit you.

Virgin are actually MBNA in disguise and I have had an MBNA card for about 8 years with no issues. Egg are good in that they offer you a deal every year on the anniversary of getting your card which is usually 6 months at 0% which is nice.

I like Egg too, if not just for their money manager which allows you to add all your accounts so you can see all of your money and money owed.
